Cathy Phillips is a California-licensed Physician Assistant with over 20 years of experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She graduated in 2002 with a Master of Medical Science degree from Midwestern University after completing her undergraduate education at the University of California, Davis. Since then, she has practiced dermatology in Phoenix, Newport Beach, and San Diego, establishing herself as an expert in diagnosing and treating a wide range of dermatologic conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, warts, and skin cancer.
Cathy is skilled in both general and cosmetic dermatology and regularly performs biopsies, excisions, skin checks, and photodynamic therapy (PDT). She also assists in Mohs surgery and is experienced in working independently at satellite offices. Her cosmetic expertise includes the use of advanced laser technologies and procedure. She is also proficient with neurotoxins, fillers, microneedling, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and intense pulsed light (IPL).
Cathy is a member of the Alpha Kappa Delta Honor Society, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is committed to delivering the highest quality dermatologic care with a patient-centered approach.
