Born in New York, Dr. Speelman is a graduate of George Washington University. She is a nine year veteran of the Air Force where she completed her dermatology residency. She has additional formal education and board certification in dermatopathology from Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation and is involved in clinical trials of new dermatologic drugs. Dr. Speelman specializes in both general and cosmetic dermatology including laser skin resurfacing, treatment of facial and leg veins, chemical peeling and Botox and collagen injections.
