A native Philadelphian, Dr. Grossman graduated from George Washington University. In 1975, following two years at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland, he entered private practice.

Dr Grossman is an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, San Diego and is a past president of the San Diego Dermatologic Society and the San Diego Society of Dermatologic Surgery.

In addition to his involvement in clinical trials of new dermatologic drugs, Dr Grossman specializes in general dermatology and the treatment of facial veins. A tennis lover, he is married and has two daughters.
